Bring your own provider API keys and pay providers directly, at zero markup.

BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys) is on the roadmap. This page describes how it's planned to work once it ships.

With BYOK you'll add your own provider keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral and others). Token costs are then billed to you directly by the provider, and Tarqa charges only for the control plane (routing, RAG, governance and observability), with $0 markup on tokens.

How it will work

Add a provider key
Paste your OpenAI, Anthropic or Google key in the dashboard under Settings → Provider Keys.

Requests use your key
Every request for that provider automatically uses your key instead of a shared pool.

Pay the provider directly
You pay the provider at their published rates. Tarqa bills only the plan fee.

OpenAI · Anthropic · Google (Gemini) · Mistral · DeepSeek · Groq · Together AI · any OpenAI-compatible provider.

Security

Provider keys will be encrypted at rest (AES-256), never logged in plain text, and sent only over TLS to the matching provider.
